Oxford School's 100 Year Anniversary
October 16-17, 2010 MEMORY PAGE

Oxford Elementary School's 100 Year Anniversary Weekend Celebration was held on October 16 and 17, 2010.
There were two events, the Harvest Faire (Oxford's annual carnival and book sale with a food booth, games and prizes) with special centennial commemoration. This event demonstrated that the 'Oxford Spirit' is still alive and kicking and was geared towards families with kids or for Oxford Alum who wanted the opportunity to come see the school, and was held at Oxford School at 1130 Oxford Street (between Eunice & Los Angeles Streets) on Saturday, October 16th from 11 AM to 3 PM. A display featured photographs and other memorabilia from the past 100 years at Oxford. Alumni from several decades attended and many shared a memory.
The second event was a no-host Potluck Picnic, held on Sunday, October 17th to celebrate Oxford School’s 100 Year Anniversary. Due to rain, the celebration was relocated to Oxford School and was held indoors. There were engaging speeches; a fabulous spread of food; elaborate historical photo displays of the school, and the viewing of a wonderful DVD that chronicled events from the founding of Oxford to present times. Centennial Celebration t-shirts were on sale in many styles and colors.
The DVD and t-shirts are now on sale and can be ordered by downloading order forms from the links below. You will be redirected to a page that allows you to download PDFs of the order forms for printing.
