About the event
In this Mizu-e art class students will learn the basics of modern suminagashi, a Japanese art of painting on water.
The basic fundamental tools and materials will be discussed. Students will learn how to create and pull Mizu-e monoprints on paper and fabric which they can pick up on a future day after they have dried. (*Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.)
